Layola, Loyola; Teaches, Taught; Religious Studies, Law. Or: The (Not-So) Curious Case of Sarah Whalen. In Context has a round-up of some of what we know (or don’t know) about the entity known as Sarah Whalen. Whalen, you’ll recall, in addition to writing the occasional witty and engaging article for Arab News may (or may not) have taught law and/or other subjects, perhaps (or perhaps not) as a professor, at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Or perhaps she was at Layola. It’s all just… fascinating, eh? Maybe one of these days Whalen will help straighten this out….
